PhD Student

Garima earned her master’s degree in chemistry from the Indian Institute of Technology Ropar, India in 2023. Her Master’s project, supervised by Prof. Rajendra Srivastava, focused on creating heterogeneous catalysts for solvent-free upcycling of plastic waste into valuable products.

She commenced her PhD studies in 2023 at the University of St Andrews, under the co-supervision of Dr. Amit Kumar and Dr. Robert Armstrong. Her project concentrates on developing new type of polymers using transition metal complexes and study their application as binders in batteries.
