Yingling Liao

Research Fellow

Yingling Liao received her master’s degree in Applied Chemistry from Chengdu Institute of Organic Chemistry, affiliated to University of Chinese Academy of Sciences (China) in 2020. Since 2017, her research has focused on the surface modification and characterisation of positive electrode materials for lithium-rich batteries.

In 2021, Yingling started her PhD under the supervision of Dr. Robert Armstrong on the NEXGENNA project supported by the Faraday Institution. Her research focuses on the synthesis and characterisation of P2- and P3-based materials for sodium-ion batteries. Yingling has now continued her work on the Faraday Institution’s NEXGENNA project as a research fellow.
